Volunteer for Us

Do you want to be a volunteer at Newcastle Town FC?

There are many roles that you could apply for that would be of great benefit to the club and your role within football.

Have you considered using and further developing your skills in any of the following positions?

Coaching
Kitchen or Bar work
Maintenance
Administration
Registration processes
And many more

This is what we will require from you:

  • A DBS check as you will come into contact with the many children in the youth section. This must be completed within ONE month of your application.
  • Interview/induction with relevant committee / welfare officers. This maybe in person or via internet call.
  • Completion of the FA First Aid Course and Safeguarding Course. (Only these are acceptable to the FA for the majority of applicants. Please discuss with the welfare officers if you believe your qualifications excuse you from the course. There are very few exceptions acceptable to the FA)
  • Proof of current and valid coaching qualifications.

It is important that all the above are completed before you are allowed to carry out your chosen role with the club. Failure to complete all relevant checks and courses in line with the club policies will prevent you from joining.

What can you expect from Newcastle Town?

Newcastle Town FC are a well established accredited football club with a family orientated approach to players, staff and supporters alike.

Should you be accepted as a volunteer within the club you will receive support and guidance in your chosen role and to achieve this many of the course qualifications required can be paid for or part funded to assist in your development. You will be further assisted by the club’s experienced committee and Welfare officers with concerns you may have.
